Girl Power

My first baby girl of 2010! Last year was the year of girls and this year it seems to be mostly boys so far. She had the sweetest smile that I was able to catch more than a few times. I'm excited that this is one of my stages packages and I will get to document her first year. Here are some cute pictures of our session:

And Baby Makes Pee

Since many of my newborn poses require no diaper, they always pee and poop all over my blankets, which of course is fine. Every so often they pee on mom and dad, but rarely does a mom handle it as cooly as my mom today. She didn't even flinch, and I wouldn't have even known he was peeing on her if it wasn't for dad laughing! This was a fun session with many beautiful photographs to prove it:

New Year, New Babies!

I'm so excited about the new newborns I'm going to be photographing in the next few weeks. Today I met a little 5lber who was very small and very cute! There were lots of reasons to love this session, first being a very sweet baby, and second being his parents who I instantly liked. Another perk to the session-- the family heirloom furniture! Catching Up

Just playing some catch up. This little one is one of my favorite little models looking too adorable for words in her christmas outfits.

I'm baaacck

It's great to be back to taking pictures again! I love my sling, I can edit and cuddle with the little one. I'm looking forward to my sessions this week.

Here is one from tonight. The little one didn't want her picture taken, but I was able to capture lots cute smiles and moments. I even captured some cute sisterly love (which as a mom of 3 girls, I love to see).

Brown Eyed Boy

It's been awhile since my last blog. I've shot a few holiday sessions but I keep those private until my clients chose their holiday card photo and then I share the other favorites from that session. Keep checking to see some of those.

Tonight I shot my last session before my 'maternity leave'. Hopefully I'll bounce back quickly and can squeeze in a few sessions before the holidays. My 2010 book is open, contact me for any sessions.

I'm a sucker for brown eyes. Although this little guy tried to hide the smiles from us, I managed to snap a few. I'm glad I get to see this one grow up, it always makes the sessions extra special! Regardless, he was so adorable that it was hard to pick my favorites. Here are a few:

Pregnancy Glow

This day was just meant for maternity pictures. It really shows the glow of this eager mommy-to-be. I have to say this may be my favorite maternity session yet. I also found a great new park to take pictures at, and I can't wait to do more. Here are my favorites:
