Think Pink

I've been looking for a way to give back using my photography and am happy to announce I have partnered up with Think Pink Photography (http://www.thinkpinkphotography.org/). A great organization that recognizes the strength of those affected with this battle. This effects me personally because my mom is a two time breast cancer survivor. I find this a great way to show her my support!

Think Pink Photography was founded in October 2007 to support individuals and their families who have been touched by breast cancer.

Through their professional photographer network, they are helping breast cancer patients to celebrate life with charitable photography sessions. Individuals may choose to document their fight against the disease before or during treatment, or prefer to capture their victory by scheduling a session within 12 months after treatment is completed. Photographers world-wide are now available to donate time and talent to celebrate life and support the cause. There is no cost or obligation to the breast cancer patient. Clients participating in a Think Pink Session will receive a complimentary photo session, as well as a set of 10 small prints from the session. They will also receive a discount on any additional portraits they wish to purchase, although there is absolutely no purchase required at any time.
To support the cause, we have partnered with The Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation. All funds generated through donations and various fundraising efforts are paid directly to The Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation. As a 3-time breast cancer survivor, Danielle Beverly and her husband Eric joined together to form a foundation dedicated to promoting education, increasing awareness, and providing support and resources for families who have been touched by breast cancer.

I encourage you to visit their website. If you hire me for a normal session, mention Think Pink and I will make a personal donation to the organization. If you, or someone you know, would like to schedule a Think Pink session, please contact me for details.
I am very proud to be a network photographer with Think Pink Photography, and am anxious to get the word out about this amazing program. For more information, you can contact me, or you can visit the Think Pink Photography website at:http://www.thinkpinkphotography.org

Bubbles!

Today I had the pleasure of taking pictures of my first paid maternity, newborn, and baby client. It was great to go back and photograph her as a two year old! She was so cute and I had so many favorites it was hard to select them for the sneak peak. Here's what I selected!

say cheese

I love all the newborn sessions I've been doing lately! This was no exception. This little guy was a perfect angel, opening his eyes and even giving away some smiles! After mom picks out his announcement photo I'll share the final result. Here's a sneak peak until then!

Happy First Birthday!!

Here's a session from the birthday girl, taken a few days before her party and at her party. She's so cute, she should be a model. Her expressions are priceless! The first is my favorite!

Session at Sunset

Sunset is the ideal time to do sessions, and these pictures are the reason why. This was a quick, easy, and super cute session, which is why I snuck it to the front of the editing line tonight. Tomorrow I will work on my other sessions, and will post them soon.

Last night I had the pleasure of photographing my maternity client's newborn son. She had expected to go early but was able to keep him in the oven for full term plus a few days! He was such a cute little guy! I managed to get a few shots with his eyes open, always a hard but well worth task. Here's a few favorites from the session!

I Do!

I often get asked if I do weddings and engagement sessions. My answer is yes, I do! However, I decided to focus my business advertising on maternity, newborn, children's, teens, and family portraits. That being said, I am doing weddings as well! I recently joined a great company in St. Louis called Artistic Soup. The owner Angela is great to work with and has put together a great wedding photography business. Her packages are affordable and professional, and you can hire me through her either as your main or second shooter! If you're getting married and would like to schedule a consultation, please visit http://www.artisticsoup.net/. Please mention my referral and ask for me to be your photographer! Here are some examples of my wedding work:

8 Month Session

I've been lucky to witness this little girl from in the belly & beyond. Since her newborn session I've been taking monthly pictures of her first year. Here's a little sneak peak from her 8th month session playing dress up!
