Flashbacks!

Finally after a few reschedules, I was able to do a session with little guy, right before he turned 4 months. I couldn't believe how much he resembles his big brother. Many of the photos look so similar to the photos I took a year ago! It's really a pleasure to be apart of their lives for another year. My little one is only a month older than this guy so it's fun to commiserate with mom on our sleepless nights. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that by our next session we will be sleeping through the night again!

First I have to apologize for taking so long on this blog post! I've been sick, first time in like 2 years!

This was a really fun session. I really enjoyed photographing this family, they have an adorable little girl who is really excited about being a big sister. We bonded while mom was feeding her brother. And she has curly hair, which as a mom of a curly haired girl, I just love.
Sometimes sessions can feel stressful, especially with siblings, but this mom had it all together, and had a very relaxed attiude about it all. Dad was the same, very helpful and willing to be apart of the pictures. It always shows when things just fall into place. Here are some favorites:

Prego in the City

Since last year seemed to be my big year of maternity sessions, it's nice to get back to them again. I loved that this session almost felt like an engagement session because these two were so in love. I had to keep reminding myself to concentrate on the belly! As you can see, she's absolutely glowing and I'm excited and privileged to be apart of the birth and first year of this lucky little guy.

I really love these photos. Nothing like capturing the love between a parent and a child.



It's so fun watching 1st moments. I believe this was the first time this little guy was on a swing. He loved it!



And just to show how a simpler version of a sibling session, here is a photo of two of my girls. Although it's nice to do a session at a location, sometimes it's harder to get real moments captured. Instead, you may want to try something stress free, like in the bedroom on a bed, letting them cuddle and enjoy each others company:

Sold Fast!

Excellent Adventure

This little guy has a lot going for him. Besides having awesome initals, a cute big sister, and good genes, he's also the first male to hold the families last name in 6 years. So, no pressure little guy.
