Bad Blogger!

I've been so busy with sessions lately that I have been neglecting my blog! Here is a recap of what I've been busy with this spring.

1 year wonder!

This was such a fun session. One of my favorite things about my job is talking with other moms during the session. This was especially fun because this client is actually an old friend from high school, who knew me before I became known as "mom". Hard to believe there was such a time!
One year old's are curious and adventurous little people. I love photographing them, watching them discover the world around them. This little 1 year was full of wonder and the littlest things made her happy. She has quite the vocabulary, and every little thing she did was adorable.

Two years of sessions

I have been photographing this family for a little over two years. Mom discovered she was pregnant during our stages package for his first little guy, and then I continued a stages package for her newest little baby boy. Now he's no longer a baby and is 1 and her oldest is 2! It's been great watching both of them grow, from newborn sounds to talking, I always enjoy my visits with them. Here are some of my favorites:

A year!

So technically these were taken a few months after her year, but they do conclude our year together! I was lucky enough to photograph this little girl since she was safe inside her mommy's tummy and here she is walking, talking, and growing every day! I hope I get to see her again at some point during her 2nd year of life!

Downtown Fun

The weather was great for a visit to downtown's City Garden. If only we were allowed to go anywhere near the sculptures! We unfortunately picked the day they were cleaning each piece and everything was blocked off with red tape. It's a good thing the main subject was an adorable newly walking 1 year! One day this little guy is going to have girls writing poems about this eyes. Here are some favorites:

Fun in the Sun

Main Street is a really fun place to take photos. It allows for a variety of shots, as you can see. Of course, a trip to Main Street would not be complete without ice cream! It was all good until the ice cream ended up on the ground, but there's always the cone! Although it was hotter than expected for May, this little guy didn't let the heat keep him from having fun. Full of smiles and words, he was a blast to take pictures of!

Happy First Birthday!!

Here's a session from the birthday girl, taken a few days before her party and at her party. She's so cute, she should be a model. Her expressions are priceless! The first is my favorite!
